Just when he starts to feel like he could become a victim of his own knowledge and insight, he understands that nothing exists alone. The icy caps on high mountain peaks long to reunite with the ocean. Just like no one note on a piano has any meaning on its own, it is only the context and the relation to the note played after or before that gives it the fodder to grow and evolve. When he learns that the "self" is a construct. Has always been. When he realizes that no thought is his own. The biggest illusion is the one of separation, of being a fragment. Not running away anymore, the hermit now wants to be vulnerable. With folded hands he will walk among his own kind again one last time before he exits this plane. Because he knows it is his last time here on earth.

Paris based Producer and DJ Pilú, head of his own label ‘Melancholia’, returns to Mumbai based label Filth Inc. with a brand new EP featuring Techno, Melodic and House influences. ‘Airborn Romance' consists of 3 tracks of great depth, atmospheric color and grain, with assiduous use of brass instruments, all in a breathtaking context. A powerful kick, distorted, humming bass, piano and brass, a masterful blend of worlds that takes the listener on an emotional trip. Melancholy, funk influences, groove, you're carried away. The airy theme is defined here by the height of the tracks. At once deep, powerful and atmospheric, we travel through extremes, lulled by a thirst for altitude then fall, dream then awakening. The vocals used on the EP's 3 tracks are real catalysts for the listener's attention, perfectly mastered and coherent in the different worlds of the tracks. In 2008, he started producing anonymously, and it wasn’t until 2020 that he moved to Florianopolis, Brazil, and became fully involved in the process of making music.

Her music is a unique blend of Afro, Amapiano, Disco, House, and Drum and Bass. Born in Guwahati Assam, her love for music took root at an early age. The journey into the world of DJing began as a hobby, but it quickly transformed into a lifelong passion. Simii's dedication to crafting intricate and groovy sets has earned her a dedicated following and respect among peers in the music industry. Simii has recently released a liquid drum and bass track called "Rush Hour", which is out on all major music streaming platforms. Along with that she's producing her first EP which is set to release towards the end of November.

LA-based label Native Boundaries presents Breaking Bounds Vol. 1. Breaks & Trance, the latest LP By Tomi Kokki a producer and a DJ hailing from Helsinki, Finland. "The album came together almost by accident, while exploring different vibes of breakbeat and trance. It started with just a couple of tracks, but after a few live jam sessions i ended up with a full length album."

Big Trouble’s signature 140 sound, unapologetically coming through on the track titled 'Chatterbox' and is taken to another level by Tom Spiral’s distinct and electric vocals. Laced with elements of reggae and expressive scratch sections, the lyrics incite an eye opening message to its listeners making it a considerably dangerous tune for the soundsystems.

He is the owner and label manager of @filth.inc - a dance music record label and promotional channel that gained initial fame for showcasing quality Lo-Fi House tunes before soon expanding to and becoming a known name in styles of music such as Ghettotech, Electro, Breakbeat, Trance and Rave.

"Three years ago, I started composing and performing what would make my collection of 5 EPs as they stand today (fifth one being ‘Stream of Information’). I like to call these a ‘sonic diary of my life’. For Stream of Information, I introspected upon the origin story of all the pages of my sonic diary and came up with the overarching theme of streams. Recorded music begins as vibrations and analog data, gets captured and translated into digital data, and then again streamed in an analog form for us to listen to." These thoughts culminated into 5 acoustic tunes named after natural phenomena, and also includes natural sounds. In this EP, he goes back to the roots (his fascination for the sonic process, and his love for nature), and simultaneously breaks notions by releasing acoustic music after a string of electronic EPs.

Safar Collective presents: Perceptions I - A Kaleidoscope of Expressions, Genres, and Emotions. Safar Collective, established in 2021, shines as the beacon of unrestrained experiments and a nurturing community focused on progressing and proliferating left-field electronic music. They believe in supporting artists to grow and learn through collaboration and peer learning, and via alternate channels like artist spotlights, and podcasts. Through multiple closed group projects - The Epoch of Dali (2021), Celeste (2022), and Prahar (2023) - that pushes the boundaries of experimentation, Safar perseveres to sculpt their identity as a cross-discipline artist haven. The curiosity to explore the unknown and a blatant disregard for mainstream trends have been instrumental to Safar’s success. With fresh steps in 2024, Safar is branching out and transitioning into a leftfield art label through which they host and showcase experimental art and build a self-sustaining ecosystem in the Indian underground for multidisciplinary art deviants and like-minded individuals. Racing towards their first-ever release as a label - a V/A compilation of 17 tracks by 19 reputable artists that are symbolic of their esoteric and nonconformist vision.

“When i heard that Nikki Nair & Hudson Mohawke had released the stems for Set The Roof featuring Tayla Parx, i turned to my trusted Ableton Live Suite, dropped those stems in there & let the magic begin, recreating this banger with my personal brand of ghetto inspired breaks & wobbling subs along with a complementing acid line. I hope to do justice with this remix. A whole lotta love to Tayla Parx blessing us with these amazing vocals as usual. Multi-genre instrumentalist Turqua, whose first & forever most love is the guitar, strives to push the limitations of the instrument. His compositions are deeply rooted in history but in sync with contemporary, an eclectic mix of Trip-Hop inspired beats with a guitar vocabulary ranging from Neo-Soul & Funk to Jazz, simultaneously recording guitars or producing tracks for genres like Alt-Pop, Folk, Rock & Roll.

"A child the size of a cub holds the hands of elders, walks around amazed, shuddered, amused, and entertained; all at the same time. The child grows up with memories of walks in places where creatures are trapped and humans stare at them for some weird kind of kicks. As a fairly adult person, I introspect on life in its myriad forms and express it through my music. I look very differently at zoo trips now. Among other thoughts, I wonder how human prejudice starts at things like racism and permeates into the way we treat other life forms. We promise roaring lions, playful monkeys, bathing hippos to take our kids to the zoo, ignoring smaller and perhaps less eye-candy creatures like frogs and snakes. I’ve been trying to understand the role of these creatures in our ecosystems and the fascinating ways they function. Appreciating life for life itself, and looking at the bewildering ways humans treat fellow creatures manifested Chidiyaghar (Hindi for ‘zoo’)." The cover art is created by Manasa Jangala, a visual artist from India. She depicts the four creatures inspiring the four tracks in a subdued colour sketch of a zoo that invokes 2000s nostalgia.

Alexey Guskov aka Nightdrive has had a passion for music since childhood, not limiting himself to any particular genre, he produces anything from disco house to electro and techno. Nightdrive also has multiple cassette releases, 2 vinyl releases as well as releases on homegrown labels (Including a track on our debut compilation & an EP on our label Bøne.FM) like Antariksh Records, Filth Inc. & has worked with RustedSound bossman 'Disector' on an EP as well. This record is inspired by broken rhythms & beats of the 90s fused with the modern club sound of breaks, dub techno & dnb.

Brand new episode of Bøne Appetit! on Tak Tent Radio as we start the year with Grifter160 x Scarlett Star, a Baltimore based dj team followed by label owner Bønehead. They also operate Juke/Footwork label Gun4Hyre Records, who are also artists for UK based label Moveltraxx. Specializing in hard hitting melodic tracks at 160 BPM their aim with Gun4Hyre is to continue to facilitate inclusiveness for all genders and races to be able to showcase their art while also keeping true to the music and culture of footwork.

4th year in a row at the beginning of the new year, NÜ KVLTURE hosts a compilation dedicated to all things electronic, showcasing the label’s genre-fluid approach. Previously known as VOL.1, VOL.2, VOL.3, the latest installment “IV” is the aftercomer, focused on different sides of the club music, bending the rules of genres, bpm, and vibes.
